Have you ever wanted to make some cookies, so you just made a quick batch with what you have on hand? These aren't those cookies.

Have you ever wanted to make some cookies, but didn't have what you needed on hand, so you ran to the store real quick to get the ingredients and then you made those cookies? These aren't those cookies.

The ingredients are not exotic, but they are like most companies will tell you, of the highest quality.

These cookies just aren't fast cookies. These aren't H&M cookies.

These cookies require planning. These cookies require forethought. These cookies simply take a long time to make. You can make the dough with what you have on hand, or with what you get from a quick run to the store without a lot of trouble (Kitchen-Aid mixer keep on keeping on). What you cannot do however, is bake and eat those cookies the same day that you make the dough (I mean, you could do so, it's not physically impossible). These are two-day cookies at the minimum. You want to have cookies tomorrow night? Start today. These are those kind of cookies.

"Well blah blah blah Mr. Cookiepants, who cares?"

"Well great then, is this the part of the blog where you finally give me the recipe?"

No, no it isn't. This isn't a blog, and there isn't a recipe forthcoming.

"So you want my money then?"

I mean, I wouldn't refuse it generally, but that's not why we are here.

"Too many words Prof. Cookies, what's the point of this?"

It is October 2021. It is officially cookie season here at the rogersbaked kitchen. There may be some distributed in the near future. Some chosen, some at random. I can physically only make a very small amount at a time, so supplies will be limited like everything else is these days. If you would like to find yourself at the front of the line, find me.
